The restricted area contains current/latest big events of the last/current season.

To get access to the restricted areas of this forum you simply post/repost at least 3 videos (read HERE how) about any skater/event you want on any place of this forum (with the exception of the montage forum). If you have done it, you MUST send Teresa Dawn or I a message by PM that we can check if you have made the video posting and then you get access. You also have to read the rules and tell us you agree with them.

You won't lose access anymore, once you have it you have it forever BUT be aware, if you break a rule in the current season forums, you lose access during the whole competition and you can only get back AFTER the competition is over if you have posted at least 10 videos again. You must give me a message again that you have made the reposts then you get back.

Remember we appreciate very much when you CONTINUE to post videos, this forum is only alive with your help! Now you know how it works to post videos, you will see it is actually not so difficult, thanks a LOT!

When you get access you also get the forum search and more PM folder space.

brokencharm, it's no rule breaking, to repost one or some videos in a skaters thread without actually having been a request for this/these video there. But it would be very appreciated, if you would repost videos with expired links and not those, of which still a valid link exists !

Then if the finished upload page does NOT have a link on it, hopefully it will be in your email to copy/paste here.

I understand that this restricted section is for the major competitions of the current season. As the JGP for the 2006-7 season has started I wondered when this forum will switch officially to the new season and videos from 2006 olympics/worlds will be available to everyone.

IIRC, the 2006 Worlds/Olympics forum won't be available to everyone until 2007 Worlds (or else there would be no restricted section at all ).

Actually, I think the 2006 Olympics and Worlds in the Restricted Area will be replaced by the Grand Prix's when they start in October. LLOS, can you confirm this?

You upload 3 videos to an allowed server. You can see which servers you can use on the top of the page.

Then you take the link to the video and post it in the right place in this forum. So for example, if its a Plushenko video you post it in the Plushenko thread.

After that you send a PM to LLOS and tell her that you have reposted 3 videos and would like access to the Restricted Area.

Okay, I'm very frustrated! I desparately want access to this GRAND PRIX forum, but when I try to upload files to these site-a-ma-jingies like Savefile.com or whatever it has a bar that says its going to take an hour and 18 minutes to upload ONE freaken video!!! I thought ya'll said this was supposed to be FAST and EASY!!! I'm sorry, I don't have time to upload 3 videos if its going to take this long!

So, I guess my question is....how long does it usually take to upload a video and see the confirmation window???? PLEASE help, I really want to see Skate America tonight, not in 3 years!!! LOL
