This is correct, of course. Though imho it's not specific enough.
Even in english: we all now a thread is a special kind of topic/discussion/process which has its own name/title and develops as time passes (threads are also computer processes).
Topic is more general and doesn't address the very thing which has a title under which people write thing.
IE: you can write an essay on a certain topic, but not on a thread, right?
"argomento" seems to me to be pretty much the same as topic. So saying "argomento" would have left room for too many different interpretations.

Again correct but too general. "Inviare un messaggio" is like "sending a message", could be a pm, or an email or whatever. But if you want to address ONLY the special thing which is logging into a forum and then write somenthing which will be visible to all the members in one of the pages, then this requires "to post".

This is just perfect: "collegamento ipertestuale" is as specific as we need it. Only, as you said, it's long.
Of course, I'm not saying there aren't proper solution out there. And maybe I could have used yours and it would have been better.
