I have a suggestion- this forum rocks, but how about separate threads for men, ladies, pairs, dance, music.

Thats a good idea....I let the forum grow a little more and then probably I do it...at competitions like Euros Worlds and Olympics next season there will be seperate forums too. smile.gif

I like the way the video forums are seperated, but I have a suggestion for another forum... Every now and then, people make new files. And at least for me, that's what I'm most keen on finding out - what new files have been made recently (and I sometimes make new files myself hehe). Could we maybe have a seperate forum for posting files for the first time? I mean to seperate them from requests and threads where older files are reposted.

For the oldies that I make, it is easiest for me to share them all in a SINGLE thread...e.g., 1994 Fantabulous Cup. I then share all the men, ladies, dance, pairs, gala...in that thread. I don't want to be putting the men in a men's forum and the pairs in a pairs forum. It makes sense to put a thread on Brian Boitano into a Mens forum, but I'd like to keep the Competitions and Exhibitions and Shows category too. Or hey, we could break it up by decade. PML There are a million ways to slice the pie. fsvids/donno.gif

RE: using a NEW CLIPS forum. Too complicated for me. If i put new clips in a NEW forum, then do people have to put reposts of the files somewhere else?

Alternative suggestion: if you make new files add NEW CLIPS or ALL NEW or something to your thread title or the thread description to identify that the vids are a new offering. I will start doing this even if no one else does...because I can see why people would want to have this info.

or perhaps...

have a thread entitled "New Clips"... no links posted, the uploaders would just desribe what they have, and in which forum to find the actual download links. (That way it's easy to take a quick look of what's new...)

Wheee! I was all fsvids/noclue.gif about how to manage NEW file announcements...and along comes sbanet with the practical solution. I like your idea sbanet!

Yeah, I like your suggestions too biggrin.gif

Dear Admins, would it be possible to add a sticky thread in each of the skate vid sharing forums that we can use to just tell people where to find new vids we have made. Something like "Announcing NEW Vid Clips" (or whatever title you think is best).

thank you LLOS and Guernemanz for all of your hard work for us! fsvids/punk.gif
