I don't know if anyone else wonders about this (probably not!), but after I download videos from a competition that took place a while back I'm always left wondering whatever happened to some of the skaters. I definitely kept thinking of 1,001 things to ask after the 1981 World Championships thread. I'm not entirely sure there would be enough questions to start a whole new section just for that, or if there would even be enough interest to warrant starting it...In the meantime, should we ask questions of that nature in the actual thread? I felt bad asking my question because it didn't seem to be common practice. Then again, the board's still in its toddler stage, who knows how it will develop and what common practice really is unsure.gif.

Yes, ask your questions for now in the actual thread, just read the Toller thread we made huge long posts of admiration and stuff. But usually a discussion should not get that long. So to make a few posts about the skaters is ok.

Maybe later, if needed, I can make a forum just to discuss the vids you have just seen smile.gif

oh i actually LOVE the discussions that come up in our vid sharing threads. it is so much more fun to share a vid and then have reactions to the skating in the vid...then to just plop links up there and get no response. so i hope that everyone actually TALKS more in the threads, as long as it is on target to the subject of the thread.

*Yes!* I agree 100% with *everything* you just said, LadyNit!

And that is just because I'm a NoPryde! LadyNit-fangirl, of course. wub.gif
No, but seriously, (and I'm sorry I didn't see this thread until now) I was just this morning mentioning to LLOS how much I enjoy the kind of 'discussions' that evolve in the threads -- having just seen a program makes for such interesting discourse, whether it be just personal reactions or more analytical discussions of technique and choreo. And 'trips down memory lane'! Or just 'overcome by NoPryde!'-insanity! (The later being my particular 'genre' of choise, naturally. smile.gif)

So -- *Yes!* Let's fsvids/blabla.gif in the threads! Reasonably on-topic and not during 'live posting from competitions', of course.

LadyNit, Gurnemanz, I totally agree 100% to everything you said, lets do it always this way smile.gif
I also much prefer to read a comment about the posated files instead of just taking it and stay silent.
